A note from my mum BARBARA ANNE, “You were born in our old cream Toyota Corolla sedan at 1:30am by the foreshore - thats where I got your middle name from, it means drop of the sea. You wouldn't remember but you might have a bodily reaction if you ever got the chance to ride in the same one”.

NIGHT DRIVE is the physical output of multidisciplinary artist/designer/maker/jester JOEY ORROCK; who’s work surrounds body, identity, queerness, myth, connection and iconography. A playful mysticism is embedded in every piece. All work is made slowly in house on Gadigal land (Marrickville) utilising both hand fabrication methods and ancient lost wax / sand casting processes.
